A few days passed and then Dhritarashtra sent for Yudhishtira.He said to him that the city of Varnavarta is very beautiful and suggested that he take along his brothers and have some fun there for a year and then return.

Yudhishtira was wise enough to know that this was a conspiracy of some sort.However,being as obedient as he was to his elders,he decided to go. The five Pandavas and their mother Kunti on leaving for Varnavata,paid their respects to their respected elders and were told to be very careful once they got there.

Once the Pandavas were gone,Duryodhana and his wicked uncle Shakuni immediately summoned Purochana,one of their allies.They came up with a plan to build a house of wax in Varnavata and burn the Pandavas alive in it.

They hurried off Purochana to Varnavata,using all the short routes to getting there and by the time the Pandavas with their mother Kunti arrived there;a house of wax was already built for them.
